Rees Jeffreys Road Fund Vice Chair Ginny Clarke visited Year 4 pupils at Barlaston First School to present them with their cheque and plaque for winning the primary school category of the Rees Jeffreys Road Fund 150 Competition.
Ginny says, “The visit was great fun and we were treated to a performance of their “bollard” dance!”
The headteacher explained that they are using the prize money for a new adventure playground, which will benefit future generations of school children, and are taking Year 4 on an outing to build jumbo Lego at the nearby University as a reward for their hard work in creating their competition entry.
